Add Boost (+$20) to feature the listing at the top of Browse and get a post on our social media accounts. Boost lasts half the plan length on a one-time plan, or one month at a time on the monthly plan.

Every listing is reviewed before it's published, typically within 1-2 business days. You'll get an email once it's approved.

Your listing shows your name, ID number, and facility mailing address exactly as you provided it. Pen pals write directly to that address by postal mail — we never handle or forward physical mail ourselves.

Yes. Open your listing page and use "This is my listing — request removal," confirming with the email you used to submit it. An admin will take it down shortly after.

It means our team manually confirmed the mailing address and facility information on that listing. It's not a background check — always use your own judgment when corresponding.

One-time listing fees are non-refundable once a listing is published, since review and placement work has already happened. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled anytime to stop future billing.

We vet listings before publishing and provide clear guidelines for pen pals, but we can't guarantee every interaction. Never send money or gift cards to someone you haven't independently verified — see our Guidelines page for the full rules.
