“Where Is My Husband!” The British singer RAYE’s hit song went viral. In interviews, she noted that she turns to her faith and scripture for life guidance. Being very spiritual myself, her song hit the spot. It took a lot of convincing from my cellie to post my profile. He’s seen me keeping to myself, spending my time on the top bunk drinking coffee, writing letters, and watching Lifetime movies. However this all plays out, I’m blessed by the Best and too anointed to be disappointed. To God be the glory. God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him” (Genesis 2:18). And in Proverbs 18:22: “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” I’m a laid-back type of person, and this is all super new to me. I’ve been incarcerated for 27 years. I was only 21 years old when I left the free world back in 1998. I hate being locked up, but I’m glad it took bumping my head against the wall to wake me up. Today I’m no longer walking around this world with my eyes wide shut! I’m an open book: honest, faithful, loyal to a fault, and God-fearing. I’m currently serving a sentence of natural life plus 60 years, without the possibility of parole. Hopefully new laws might reduce that. Your ethnicity, sign, or looks are not important.
